Online classical dance classes for families in the USA
Learn Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam or Kuchipudi live from Kerala, at a time that works in New York, Chicago, Dallas, the Bay Area and the rest of the US. Many of our online students are Malayali families in the US.
How it works from here
Classes are live over video, one hour each, four times a month. Arunima Raj teaches every class herself and corrects each student on screen as they dance. Nothing is pre-recorded.
Batches are small. Classes run in English or Malayalam, whichever your family prefers, and a recording of the class is sent on request so your child can practise during the week.
Finding a time that works
Most US families choose a Saturday or Sunday morning, which falls in the Kerala evening. Weekday evening slots in the US fall in the early Kerala morning.
Kerala does not change its clocks, so the gap moves by an hour when yours change. The exact timing is agreed with you on WhatsApp.
