Fees
Online Bharatanatyam classes: how the fees work
There is no single price list, because the fee depends on three things: the kind of class, where you live, and the time you choose. Message us with those three and we will send your exact monthly fee on WhatsApp.
What you pay for
The fee is monthly and covers four live classes of one hour each, taught by Arunima Raj herself. A five-week month still has four classes, and the fee stays the same.
Theory is taught alongside the practice, and a recording of the class is sent on request so you can practise during the week.
Three things that set the fee
Group or one-to-one. Group classes are small batches where every student is still corrected by name. One-to-one classes are just you and the teacher, at a time fixed for you. The two are priced separately.
Where you live. Fees are set separately for India, the Gulf, the UK, Europe, the USA and Canada.
When the class runs. Some slots fall early in the morning or late at night in Kerala, especially for the USA and Canada, and timing can change the fee.
| Group class | One-to-one class | |
|---|---|---|
| Who is in class | A small batch | Only the student |
| Timing | Fixed batch times, set around your time zone | A time fixed for the student |
| Correction | Every student, by name, every class | All of the teacher's attention |
| Good for | Children who enjoy learning with others; steady progress | Adults with busy weeks, students preparing for an exam or arangetram, or fitting a hard time zone |
| Fee | Priced by country and timing | Priced separately, by country and timing |
