Online classical dance classes for families in Canada
Learn Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam or Kuchipudi live from Kerala, at a time that works in Toronto, Waterloo, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. Malayali families in Canada learn with us online.
How it works from here
Classes are live over video, one hour each, four times a month. Arunima Raj teaches every class herself and corrects each student on screen as they dance. Nothing is pre-recorded.
Batches are small. Classes run in English or Malayalam, whichever your family prefers, and a recording of the class is sent on request so your child can practise during the week.
Finding a time that works
Most Canadian families choose a weekend morning, which falls in the Kerala evening. On the west coast, an early weekend morning works best.
Kerala does not change its clocks, so the gap moves by an hour when yours change. The exact timing is agreed with you on WhatsApp.
